Ten Principles of
7.
Produce Value
We cannot afford to be non-productive - doctors, lawyers, craftsman and farmers all have their role.
Independence requires material self-sufficiency. Social programs like welfare and food stamps are designed to foster dependency on government, which obviously leads to government control.
Every able-bodied participant in the eXile must be economically productive. This is the key to the individual's self-sufficiency and the community's self-sufficiency. We all need people to barter with. Doctors need firewood and lawyers need automobiles. Whether you are an auto mechanic, a farmer, a woodworker, a logger, a carpenter or a stonemason, you need other people to help you make a living. This is possible only if you yourself have something to barter with. Others need you to be productive so they can deal with you for their necessities, as opposed to some pagan outside the eXile community.
All of God's children have been given talents and are expected to make good use of them [Matthew 25:14-30]. Follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and be productive.
