Prepare to Leave the Cities
In the eighteen months since the attacks of September 11, 2001, we have now learned that our rulers will not allow mass civilian casualties to interfere with their globalist [1] agenda. Since September 11, our borders have not been secured. Since September 11, Congress granted the Executive "fast track" trade treaty authority. Since September 11, our rulers have increasingly deployed their Armed Forces [2] throughout the Middle East, for reasons having little or nothing to do with incapacitating those responsible for the attacks [3].
Instead, as more are now beginning to notice, our rulers have used those attacks to further their already well along project of establishing totalitarian government and increasing surveillance of those who oppose it. In enacting the "USA Patriot Act" [4], what the government calls "patriotic" is the dismantling of our beloved Constitution.
What will our future be like? By tracking the tendencies of relevant actors or decision-makers, we can rationally project their future course of actions or choices. In political and economic systems where power is concentrated in the hands of a few actors and decision-makers, their tendencies are more determinative of the future than in decentralized or complex systems, e.g. chaos theory. The United States is supposed to be a decentralized system but is now a centralized system.
Now, we have been able to track our rulers' tendencies for the eighteen months following what many would have called, before September 11, the "worst case scenario." Now, they have completed their arbitrage of the known risks of terrorism versus the perceived benefits of globalism. Now, we can rationally project how they will respond in the event of future attacks.
Now, it appears that our rulers will continue to implement the nation-destroying policies of globalism, no matter how many civilian casualties result. They will continue to inflict upon us the signature abuses of totalitarian government: random searches, surveillance, secret courts, secret police and gun control.
Because our rulers appear committed to a military occupation of the entire Middle East [5], the impetus towards terrorism will increase. Because of open borders, our citizens' vulnerability to terrorism will increase. Major metropolitan areas on the East and West coasts are increasingly seen as the likely targets of terrorism. Because mass immigration must continue [6], ethnic and religious Balkanization will increase, with its concomitant tensions and conflicts. And perhaps most importantly, all these events will fuel the war on our Constitution, our rights and our freedoms.
Our rulers understand that their choices entail a grave and imminent threat to public safety. Tellingly, they have prepared for their own security by rotating higher government officials through siege-proof bunkers located somewhere in West Virginia. Higher officials not in bunkers are assigned bodyguards. Government and media elites are planning their escape routes from Washington D.C. and other metropolitan areas.
What shall we do to provide for our own security? Now, more than two years after eXileMM went online for Christmas of 2000, its prescriptions for action seem more warranted than ever. As our government's decision-makers continue to track their projected course, the ten principles of Christian Separatism make even more sense if European Christians are to survive and thrive.
As stated in our Prologue, eXileMM believes the time has come for us to leave the cities and to live "abroad", meaning away from our former homes. EXile advocates a European Christian pilgrimage or migration to the hill countries, highlands and mountainous regions, specifically Appalachia and the Northern Rocky Mountain States. The reasons are manifold, having diverse justifications such as Biblical precedent and prophecy [7], demographics, and availability of land, water and natural resources. To those reasons, first set forth in 2000, can be added our security from terrorism and from the surveillance threats posed by our own government.
Since eXileMM first spoke of the necessity to make this pilgrimage, to separate ourselves from the dominant culture, to prepare to fight and survive, new reasons have made that necessity more urgent. Since that time, intervening events and our rulers' decision-making have only confirmed our Nation's downward trajectory.
Therefore, we re-ask the question: What must we do to secure a future for ourselves, our families, our culture, our Constitution and our Nation? We reiterate: Christian Separatism is a valid, necessary and practicable strategy.
eXileMM has proposed certain counties as being suitable for relocation. But this proposal is merely the beginning of a consensus-building process. To facilitate an interactive consensus, message boards will soon be added to this site.
We look forward to hearing from all of you.
